Give Advance Orders.
It is posible to give your bots their orders before you start the game this means that you do not have to pause the game while you are playing to give out the orders.
Using the Chainsaw.
You can use the chainsaw as you would a sword. The primary fire (which is typically the left-click mouse button) thrusts it, and the secondary fire (normally the right-click mouse button) swings it in a slash-type motion.
Overwhelm Enemy Defenses.
When you're on the offense in an Assault map, command all the bots to cover you. Wait right outside a defensive choke point; then when your team is gathered, issue the attack command to overwhelm the enemy defenses.
Translocator Tricks.
The Translocator is more than just an invitation for someone to kill you long distance (if your enemy finds yours and shoots it, you're toast, you know); you can use it to get places quickly without being seen. For instance if you're looking for a good sniping spot, just fire your Translocator onto a roof or a beam, transport yourself up there, and snipe at will. You can reach lofty power-ups this way as well. You can also use it with your Impact Hammer to cover long distances quickly and silently: Get to a high spot, drop your Translocator right in front of you (you might want to check for snipers before you do this), then pull out your Impact Hammer. Crouch down, cock the the Hammer, aim it straight at the disc, and fire. If your aim is true, it'll land in a convenient spot for instant transportation. This works well on the CTF map, Facing Worlds; perform this trick from the very top of your team's tower, and your Translocator disc should fly across the board in the air and land on the enemy's tower in a few seconds. Careful not to hit it off the level, or you'll have to try again.
Bind Keys to Custom Commands.
This is a bit tricky, but fairly straightforward if you know your advanced options. Obviously you can set up your weapons selector binds in the Preferences menu, but if you'd like to bind the "N" key to perform a jump while saying "You like that?", for instance, you'd have to perform the following:-
1. Press the apostrophe key (') to bring up the console and type in "preferences".
2. Choose "Advanced" and then "Raw Key Bindings". A list will then appear showing you which keys are bound to which action.
3. Scroll down to the "N" key section, click on it, and type the following into the box that appears: "speech 3 1 0 | jump". You'll notice that the speech part is defined by a number code. You'll probably have to do some experimenting to find out which number codes correspond to which speech commands.
Camping Is not a Crime in UT.
Camping, the practice of finding a hidden, well-protected spot and shooting enemies from there, is generally frowned upon in first-person shooters. But not in UT (or at least it shouldn't be), where camping spots are built into the maps and good camping counterweapons (such as the Rocket Launcher, Flak Cannon, or ASMD in Alt fire mode) are plentiful. The Sniper Rifle makes it a valid tactic. Find camping spots that watch over powerful power-ups or choke points, like staircases or long hallways. If you really hate campers, make it a habit to occasionally lob rockets at popular camping spots.

"LocalMap=CityIntro.unr"
with the following line:
"LocalMap=UT-Logo-Map.unr"
Advanced Tweaking.
To access the Advanced Options menu while you're in the game, open the system console (~), type preferences, and hit Enter. Now you should have a whole list of stuff you can tweak.
Boss Skin.
This procedure involves editing a file, so make sure you back it up. Use a text editor to edit the user.ini file in the game directory, now add the following lines
[botpack.ladder]
HasBeatenGame=True
Show Your Frame Rate.
There are two ways to display your frame rate. First, try pressing the apostrophe (') key to show the console and then type in "timedemo 1" (without the quotes). Press Esc to close the console, and you'll notice your average frame rate and your frame rate for the last second are now displayed on the right-hand side of your screen. To turn it off again, open the console and type "timedemo 0" (again, without quotes). Another way to show the frame rate is to select the Tools menu on the Unreal Tournament main screen and then select the "TimeDemo Statistics" option. Perform the same task to turn the frame rate display back off.
Aim for the Head.
Unreal Tournament doesn't feature a true location damage system, but shots hitting the head do more damage than other shots do. So aim for the head whenever possible to take your foes down a little faster.
